OBJECTIVES OF FORUM
1) Help Teenage Girls, Women & their families understand Endometriosis. This is one of the least understood conditions of our time,
    and probably least talked about, especially in our Asian culture. There is no cure for this disease, Thus awareness, education &  “pain
    management”/ emotional support is very crucial to  help to conquer this extremely distressing dis-ease, that has proven to affect
    family, social & work life.

2) Endometriosis is a painful condition where most sufferers have excruciatingly painful menses and/or experience pains even during off
    cycle. Many  women suffer in silence, due to embarrassment. Teenage girls have to face insensitive/ignorant teachers, siblings &
    parents, while women needing to take medical leave may not be understood by (& even face hostility from) their bosses or male
    colleagues, who sometimes think they're faking.

3) Endometriosis is identified as one of the major factors that causes infertility and women suffering from endometriosis find it difficult
    to get pregnant.  Endometriosis plus the trend of late child-bearing age further worsens the fertility rate- our current national problem.

4)) Early awareness about endometriosis & its complications (stage1 -4) for teens & women is imperative in managing pain and reducing
     the risk of infertility. Early Awareness & education  may encourage women to try getting  pregnant early rather than late . Medical
     doctors and gynaecologists are known to routinely advise their patients to get pregnant as a possible option to alleviate and/or
     hopefully eradicate endometriosis and the pain that accompanies the conditions.

5) Empower Teenage Girls & Women with holistic view points(medical & natural/ mind) that will give them better understanding ,
    confidence and techniques to cope with their menstrual health condition so that they can live a pain-free, healthy & fertile life.
